We are looking for a talented Business Application Specialist – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to join our IT team to support and enhance our business-critical applications across R&D, Quality, and Marketing. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Group Solution Owner – I2M to implement, optimize, and support key platforms such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Design to Print (D2P). Your work will directly contribute to Intersnack’s continued growth as a global leader in the food industry.

How you will spend your time as our next Business Application Specialist – Idea to Market:
As our new Business Application Specialist – Product Lifecycle Management (internally Business Application Specialist – Idea to Market) , your initial focus will be to support the Infor Optiva PLM Scope Project. Over time, you’ll take ownership of a broader portfolio of applications, ensuring they evolve in line with business needs. You will:
Provide hands-on support for the Infor PLM for Process (Optiva) rollout.
Manage and improve existing applications, including Oracle Agile PLM, Wave D2P and Infor CRM in the Consumer Response & Crisis Management area.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configuration documents.
Coordinate monthly cloud releases and manage upgrade cycles.
Lead and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Deliver daily operational support and troubleshoot application issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with IT standards.
Drive continuous improvement through system roadmaps and process optimisation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and enhance workflows.
Job requirements
What we expect of you:
Solid understanding of the Idea to Market process and hands-on experience with PLM and/or D2P systems (e.g., Wave).
CRM knowledge is a plus.
Proven experience across the full application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
Experience in global, multi-phase implementation projects is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations
A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally for rollouts and team workshops.
