We are expanding our team and looking for an IT Infrastructure Services Coordinator to join our IT Infrastructure & Shared Services function at our Düsseldorf headquarters. In this permanent full-time role, you will report directly to the Team Lead IT Infrastructure Services. You will play a key role in managing the lifecycle of IT service requests - ensuring smooth coordination, structured planning, and efficient delivery across our global infrastructure landscape.

How you will spend your time as our next  IT Infrastructure Services Coordinator: 

As our  IT Infrastructure Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end process of technical service requests within our IT Infrastructure & Shared Services team. From early forecasting and impact assessment to planning, tracking, and final closure, you will help ensure that each request is handled with precision and aligned with our defined Off-Catalogue Service Request (OCSR) process. The role focuses on coordinating infrastructure-related service requests and supports smooth delivery outside the typical scope of infrastructure PMO-managed projects. 

  • Gather and consolidate relevant information to prepare the forecast of upcoming service requests, supporting effective IT resource planning and alignment with agreed vendor management practices. 

  • Plan and coordinate tasks and timelines for service execution, ensuring prioritisation of ongoing and upcoming activities in alignment with the relevant tower manager and the OCSR process. 

  • Receive and analyze information from service requesters or related projects and OpCos, assess risks and impact, and link requests to associated services. 

  • Monitor the change solutioning and delivery process including vendor-side activities, follow up on task completion, and provide clear status updates. 

  • Review implementation plans and conduct post-completion evaluations 

  • Ensure documentation is complete and standardised for all delivered services. 

  • Manage service closure with appropriate handover to BAU and ensure requester satisfaction. 

Job requirements

What we expect of you: 

  • Solid experience in IT infrastructure and service delivery coordination within technical or operational IT environments. 

  • Proven ability to manage technical service requests and support infrastructure-related activities. 

  • Experience working in collaboration with external vendors or third-party providers to support service delivery. 

  • Understanding of IT service management principles; experience in project coordination within IT Infrastructure is a plus. 

  • ITIL and ITSM certifications would be advantageous. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment. 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations. 

  • A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus.
