We are expanding our team and looking for an IT Project Manager to join our dynamic IT department. Your expertise will drive technological progress, ensuring our infrastructure meets the highest standards of security, efficiency, and innovation.

Important Note: Some travel to project offices and other Intersnack locations may be required up to 30% of the time.

How you will spend your time as our next IT Project Manager:

As our next IT Project Manager, you will be a key member of our project delivery team, ensuring high-quality project delivery processes and driving improvements across the Intersnack organization.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Acting as a bridge between the business and other departments within Intersnack IT.
  • Managing various IT projects, including technical IT implementations, application rollouts, migration projects (upgrade/merge/carve-out), and legacy solution decommissioning.
  • Taking on the role of the PM or specific PM roles in larger projects, such as cutover manager or test manager.
  • Working on multiple smaller projects simultaneously, maintaining a strong focus on quality.
  • Collaborating with other Project Managers to share findings and support high-quality results.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
  • Managing change effectively and navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborating with internal customers to understand project objectives and ensure proper definition and documentation of requirements.
  • Taking ownership and actively managing projects throughout their lifecycle, following standard project management processes and methodologies.

Job requirements

What we expect of you:

  • Several years of project management experience in IT projects, preferably with a focus on Server & Cloud projects, application rollouts, and IT infrastructure projects.
  • One of the following project management certifications: PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or APM PPQ.
  • Technical expertise in migrating applications and servers to new technologies and environments.
  • Experience in specific project management roles focused on cutover or test management within IT projects is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of application delivery, middleware, cloud, data center infrastructure, end-user devices, data protection, and access management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; German language proficiency is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations.
  • A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus.
