We are expanding our team and looking for an IT Project Manager to join our dynamic and international IT department. Your expertise will drive the successful delivery of IT projects that support our global transformation initiatives and ensure our infrastructure is modern, secure, and efficient. 

Important Note: This role may require travel to Intersnack locations and project offices up to 30–40% of the time.

How you will spend your time as our next IT Project Manager: 

As an IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering IT components of Intersnack’s business transformation programme. You will coordinate project plans, manage cross-functional activities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards. 

Your key tasks will include: 

  • Acting as a bridge between business areas and Intersnack IT 

  • Managing IT-related deliverables such as infrastructure enhancements, device rollouts, user access, system configurations, and deployments 

  • Coordinating with internal and external teams to plan resources and align project timelines 

  • Engaging with other IT Teams and procurement to ensure appropriate staffing and support 

  • Collaborating with business teams to define requirements and ensure proper documentation 

  • Managing Rollout Managers and third-party vendors involved in infrastructure delivery 

  • Forecasting IT activities to improve resource allocation and project planning 

  • Applying and helping to improve Intersnack’s standard project management processes and tools 

  • Managing change effectively and supporting stakeholders through ambiguity 

  • Taking full ownership of assigned projects from initiation to closure

Job requirements

What we expect of you: 

  • Several years of experience managing IT projects, ideally in ERP environments or with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, or application rollouts 

  • Strong technical knowledge in migrating servers and applications to modern platforms 

  • Familiarity with areas such as application delivery, middleware, cloud, data centres, end-user devices, and access management 

  • Experience working across multiple locations and managing teams in different phases of projects 

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate clearly at all levels 

  • A structured, hands-on approach with a focus on results and continuous improvement 

  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or APM PPQ) 

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Project; confident presentation skills 

  • Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations 

  • A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus
