Job description

We want you to grow with us

We are expanding our international IT organisation and looking for an IT Project Manager – ERP Implementation to join our dynamic and cross-functional IT Project and Portfolio Management Team.

In this newly created role, you will take ownership of ERP and IT projects that are critical to our business transformation. Your work will help modernise systems and harmonise processes across our European operations, ensuring they support long-term success.

Please note: This role may require travel to Intersnack locations and project offices up to 30–40% of the time.

What we can offer

This position offers the opportunity to support full lifecycle ERP and IT projects – from planning and implementation through go-live and transition to support. You will work closely with both business and IT teams, manage internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to improving the way we deliver technology across the group.

You’ll be part of a supportive and international environment that encourages collaboration, continuous improvement, and impactful delivery.

How you will spend your time as our next IT Project Manager

As our next IT Project Manager – ERP Implementation (internal title: IT Project Manager), you will lead cross-functional projects that support our strategic transformation goals. You will ensure alignment between business needs and IT execution, taking responsibility for planning, execution, go-live and beyond.

This is your opportunity to shape how ERP systems are implemented across Intersnack and help teams operate more efficiently with the right tools in place.

Your key responsibilities

  • Act as the main link between business areas and Intersnack IT

  • Lead ERP and IT project delivery across the full lifecycle: planning, execution, go-live, and transition to support as part of the roll-out team.

  • Translate business needs into actionable project plans and clear technical requirements

  • Oversee IT-related deliverables, including infrastructure enhancements, device rollouts, user access, system configurations, and deployments

  • Coordinate internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external service providers to ensure aligned resource planning and execution

  • Collaborate with procurement and line managers to secure appropriate staffing and vendor support

  • Manage rollout teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery

  • Support business readiness, change adoption, and post-go-live stabilisation

  • Establish and maintain structured project governance, status tracking, and risk reporting

  • Apply and continuously improve standardised project management processes, tools, and templates

  • Contribute to capacity forecasting and mid-term planning across the project portfolio

  • Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet agreed quality standards

Job requirements

What we expect from you

  • Several years of experience managing complex ERP implementation projects, ideally across multiple sites or within a global organisation

  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end ERP project lifecycles – from planning to go-live and post-implementation (BAU)

  • Practical experience with system migrations, integrations, and deployment coordination

  • Background in or close collaboration with an internal IT organisation; candidates with ERP delivery experience from consulting are also welcome

  • Industry knowledge of manufacturing, especially food production, food & beverage, or other process industries

  • Strong ability to lead multiple cross-functional projects or phases across distributed teams

  • Confident in stakeholder management, clear communication, and expectation setting

  • Hands-on, structured, and solution-focused working style with a commitment to continuous improvement

  • Certified in project management (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PPQ)

  • Skilled in Microsoft Project and other PM tools such as Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, collaborative matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations

  • A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus

Important:

Please be aware that a valid work and residence permit is required for non-EU applicants for this position.
