Your primary focus will be to provide prompt first-level customer support to our Group Headquarters End-Users, including business colleagues, visitors, and staff. How you will spend your time as our IT Support Specialist:

In this role, you'll be the first contact person for various IT (software/hardware) requests from our internal and external colleagues. Collaborate closely with our Group Headquarters' IT Coordinator for seamless support.

What you will do:

  • Provide prompt first-level customer support to business colleagues, visitors, and staff wherever Intersnack Group's central ServiceDesk cannot help from a distance.
  • Skillfully diagnose and troubleshoot issues spanning laptops, mobile devices, printers, e-mail, VPN, and network access, closely collaborating with the experts of our external IT service provider.
  • Take ownership of deploying local hardware and software with precision, adhering to approved products and services. Assist with local area network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate on access control compliance, promptly reporting incidents as per corporate policy.
  • Document and track incidents through our management system, ensuring accurate resolution follow-through.
  • Support with various technical issues during and before meetings in our conference rooms.

Job requirements

What we expect of you:

  • An IT-support enthusiast with the aptitude to learn, apply, and solve tech solutions and challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, adapting to various technical and non-technical skill levels (C-Level, Executive Management, Project Managers, external Customers, external IT service providers).
  • Proven experience in 1st and/or 2nd Level support with PC-based hardware, software, and mobile devices.
  • Interest in Microsoft infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking (routing, VLANs).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and experience in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Fluent in English with a minimum B2 level of proficiency in German, preferred.
